Cancellation Policy
Your scheduled appointment has been reserved just for you.
At Riverside South Dental Centre, our office maintains a cancellation policy that requires 48 hours notice should it be necessary for you to reschedule your appointment.
This policy is essential for the efficient operation of our office and assists us in providing better service to you, our valued patient. Please allow us to provide you with the best service possible by complying with this policy and informing us if you will be unable to attend at your reserved time.
Payment/Insurance Policy
Our fees are based on the current fee guide as recommended by the Ontario Dental Association.
Payment is due at the time of treatment.
Acceptable forms of payment are:
We are here to help you in any way that we can with your dental claims.
Dental Insurance: If you or your spouse has a Dental Insurance Plan, please provide the information to us prior to your dental appointment in order to discuss your coverage with you. Our office submits your insurance claims electronically, thereby providing your insurer with the information necessary to process your claim. However, not all insurers accept electronic claims and we advise our patients to confirm such acceptance with their insurance company well in advance of your dental visit.
Your insurance plan is a contract between you and your insurance company. We ask that you keep yourself up to date with plan changes and maximum limitations and inform us as well on any changes that may have occurred to your address, telephone numbers and your dental insurance information. Dental offices are not informed by insurance companies of changes to dental plans and maximum limitations.
Predeterminations: Most insurance companies recommend submitting a Predetermination of Benefits form prior to commencing major dental procedures. Please talk to us about getting an estimate of your services ahead of time. We will be glad to submit an estimate to your insurance company on your behalf in order to determine the level of coverage given to you by your insurer prior to the commencement of treatment.
Important note: Dental insurance does not always provide coverage with your dental health in mind.
Your dentist’s first consideration is achieving the highest level of oral health for you and we will diagnose with the best interest of your dental health, not your insurance, as our primary concern.
