Our hygienists’ efforts are aimed at delivering preventative oral health care, all the while educating each patient on important steps that can be taken to help prevent future dental problems. We stress the importance of early detection and treatment and recommend regularly scheduled dental appointments. Our hygienists are governed by the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and are members of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA).

Armen – Registered Dental Hygienist

Armen is a graduate of the dental hygiene program of Collège de Maisonneuve and obtained his diploma in 1993. After having the opportunity to practice at multiple locations in the greater Montréal area for 14 years, he decided to relocate to Ottawa for family reasons. He joined the Riverside South dental family in 2007. Armen has always kept up with the constant changes in the dental field through continuing education and enriches the practice by bringing over 22 years of experience in the field.
Armen is a wonderful husband and proud father of a teenage son. He is passionate about music of all kind and cooking. When not in the office he enjoys long nature walks.
Over time he has developed a great relationship of complicity with his patients. He takes pride in taking the time to get to know his patients and cater to their individual oral health needs. His friendly, light and gentle touch combined with his excellent level of care is sought after by many of our patients.

Shari-Anne – Registered Dental Hygienist

Shari-Anne’s dental career started 17 years ago, after graduating from the John Abbott College Dental Hygiene program in 1998. She has had the opportunity to travel across Canada and practice in Moncton, Vancouver and the greater Toronto area. She decided to settle down in Ottawa and joined the Riverside South Dental Family in 2006 and has been with us for almost 10 years.
In her private life, Shari-Anne is a wonderful wife and mom to 3 children. She is an avid runner, loves to garden and enjoys relaxing by the lake in the summer. She is a passionate cross-stitcher and has an extensive collection.
Her efficiency and vast experience demonstrate her passion for the dental field. Over the past 10 years she has made it a goal to get to know her patients individually all the while consistently providing personalized high quality dental care.

Christina – Registered Dental Hygienist

Christina is a person with full of energy and a great sense of humor.
After successfully working as a dental assistant for 6 years, she demonstrated her passion for dentistry by further pursuing her studies in dental hygiene. She graduated from Canadian National Institute of Heath in 2007 completing the Dental Hygiene Program. She started her career as a Dental Hygienist and joined our dental practice in 2008.
Christina loves the country life and spends quality time with her wonderful husband and little girl. She loves the outdoors, camping and travelling.
Christina is very attentive to understanding the patient’s needs and delicate in the care that she provides to her patients. These qualities allow her to easily win the trust of her patients.

Sara – Registered Dental Hygienist

Sara joined our dental team shortly after graduating from the Canadian National Institute of Heath in 2013 earning the Dental Hygienist Diploma and meriting the Dean’s award.
During her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends and two dogs. She loves the outdoors and sports of all kind. She is currently enjoying the arrival of her first baby.
Sara prides herself in being gentle, yet thorough. This approach and always smiling face bring peace and reassurance to anyone in her care.
